In January we put out a challenge to anyone who was UP for a challenge.  The prize? Free training with celebrity trainer, Milton Harris, and the chance to be ready for the beach.  Here is what our winner had to say about the experience and a few tips on how YOU can shape up NOW:

Three Tips for Feeling Rich TODAY:

TIP 1: SET A GOAL

Nothing acheived can be appreciated unless you have a goal in mind.  JJ’s goal was to be be bikini ready in four months.  Setting a goal helps stay focused on the task at hand.  It is something that you will think about every day and every night until you reach it.  If you find yourself unmotivated to hit the gym, envisioning your goal will give you that burst of energy you need to pull the trigger and just GO!  Once you hit your goal, THAT’S where the real motivation lies, seeing results can’t be compared to anything else.  That vision alone will allow you to set a new goal and repeat the entire process again.

TIP 2: NOTHING ACHIEVED IS HANDED TO YOU

Even the lottery takes an investment, no one just “wins” you have to go and buy a ticket.  In order to reach your goal you must invest in yourself.  You have to eat and workout like this is your last opportunity to do so.  NEVER SETTLE FOR MEDIOCRITY.  NEVER TAKE A STEP BACK.  If you don’t get better, you will only get worse.

TIP 3: CHANGE YOUR EATING HABITS.

What you put into your body is what you will get out. LIVE BY IT AND DIE BY IT.  You have to fuel your body with the right ingredients during every phase of the day.  DON’T BE A VICTIM OF MYTHS AND FAD DIETS. Follow a healthy meal plan and you will see results.
