Styles P shares how his success with juicing has improved his health and his overall quality of life.
I like to tell people that the biggest benefit of juicing is that it gives you an opportunity to put life back into your body. Unless you are a vegan, the food you eat is dead. But fruits and vegetables are alive! So when you take those fruits and vegetables and juice them up, you are taking all the good that those living foods can offer and putting that directly into your body. That’s how you put life back into yourself.
Also, juicing gives you more energy. When you juice, eat right and exercise regularly, you are definitely on the path to a healthy lifestyle.
This personally plays into my performance. I went from being 240 lbs down to 185 lbs and have been able to maintain that weight. I have an abundance of energy–from being in the booth to performing on the stage, all the energy I have is due to this lifestyle.
- 3 pears
- 2 handfuls of grapes
- 6 strawberries
- 1 handful of blueberries
Juice all these together. Put some ice in there if you want. Then add a spoonful of honey or agave if you want, and pour it over a tall glass of ice.
Like a V8:
- 2 tomatoes
- 1 carrot
- 1 celery stalk
- 2 leaves of lettuce
- 1 handful of spinach
- 1/2 handful of parsley
Juice all these together. Pour over a tall glass of ice. Sprinkle the top with black pepper and enjoy.
